THRACE, Perinthus. Nero. AD 54-68. Æ “Sestertius”(?) (33mm, 22.87 g, 8h). Struck circa AD 54-59. Laureate head right; obverse legend begins below head / Crossed cornucopias. RPC 1748; Schönert-Geiss, Perinthos 228; Varbanov 14. VF, green and brown patina, some smoothing and minor tooling, small area of fill on neck. Extremely rare, the finer of the two known.
